Greed Never Sleeps
A raw statement on inequality, survival, and the systems that never stop taking.
Some sleep on silk sheets, some on the floor
Empty hands knocking on closed doors
Children crying with nothing to eat
While the rich throw away what's left of their feast
The world feels broken, tilted and bent
Paycheck to paycheck chasing the rent
Meanwhile the power keeps trading our lives
For land, for oil, for interest and lies
This is the way we're living now
Some rise too high, some never climb out
People drowning in debt, people lost in the streets
And the wars never end, 'cause the greed never sleeps
Bankers counting while workers bleed
Politicians talking but it's all for their need
Homeless freezing under city lights
Invisible souls disappearing from sight
The truth is heavy but it's not new
This unfair game was built for the few
Dreams get sold with a price tag on hope
And the rest of us hang by a fraying rope
This is the way we're living now
Some rise too high, some never climb out
People drowning in debt, people lost in the streets
And the wars never end, 'cause the greed never sleeps
Tell me how long can we carry this pain
How many lives get lost for someone else's gain
We all breathe the same air, bleed the same red
But still they divide us, the living from the dead
This is the way we're living now
Some rise too high, some never climb out
People drowning in debt, people lost in the streets
And the wars never end, 'cause the greed never sleeps
Only Together
A message about unity, purpose, and the shared nature of life.
We don't live forever, our time is shared
No one has come back, no secrets declared
When we are born, it's the greatest prize
A spark of light in these endless skies
So let's not waste the days we're given
Every breath's a chance for living
Only together, we'll rise above
With open hands and hearts full of love
Peace for all, let the sorrow cease
Every soul deserves their share of peace
We'll grow old with the ones we adore
Till we're watching from the stars once more
Let's heal the broken, fight disease
End the hunger, bring relief
Build a world where no one cries alone
And find new heights we've never known
Reach for the planets, beyond our skies
But only if we stand unified
Only together, we'll rise above
With open hands and hearts full of love
Peace for all, let the sorrow cease
Every soul deserves their share of peace
We'll grow old with the ones we adore
Till we're watching from the stars once more
No walls between us, no reason to fight
We shine much brighter when we share the light
Divided we fall, but united we climb
Beyond the limits of space and time
Only together, we'll rise above
With open hands and hearts full of love
Peace for all, let the sorrow cease
Every soul deserves their share of peace
We'll grow old with the ones we adore
Till we're watching from the stars once more
The Great Equal
Mortality as the ultimate equalizer, where titles and differences fade.
Born under skies we didn't choose
Carved into tribes by ancient truths
Taught to divide by color and creed
To measure a soul by power and need
We build our walls, we crown our names
Then curse the world for what remains
Blind to the truth we never trust
The ground waits for all of us
Your flag will fade, your temple fall
The earth remembers none of it all
Time's the judge, the great unknown
It takes the king, it humbles the throne
All our sins and all our scars
Are carried off beyond the stars
No name survives, no door ajar
Dust returns to dust, that's who we are
She prays to heaven, he kneels to none
Both chasing light beneath the sun
We fight for crowns we cannot keep
Then cry for peace we never reap
We preach of gods, of right and wrong
But truth's a whisper, not a song
And when the final breath is drawn
No creed will judge what we've become
The blood we spill, the hate we trust
All sink the same beneath the dust
Time's the judge, the great unknown
It takes the king, it humbles the throne
All our sins and all our scars
Are carried off beyond the stars
No name survives, no door ajar
Dust returns to dust, that's who we are
Who are we when the mirrors break
When pride dissolves in its own wake
The hands we fear could be our own
If only hearts were made of stone
Time's the judge, the great unknown
It takes the king, it humbles the throne
All our sins and all our scars
Are carried off beyond the stars
No name survives, no door ajar
Dust returns to dust, that's who we are
From ashes we came, to ashes we'll go
What's left behind is all we show
Not wealth, not blood, not crown, not scar
Just the light that proves who we are
Echoes
The internal struggle of chasing something just out of reach.
The dawn bleeds in, my life's a storm,
Each fragile calm distorts its form.
I touch the sun, it turns to ash,
Hope burns away, then fades to black.
I see the light, it mocks my reach,
It fades like prayers I cannot teach.
My mind, the sculptor, cruel and blind,
Keeps carving cages in my mind.
I chase the heights beyond the night,
But shadows feast upon my light.
When silence falls, I hear the sound
Echoes of ghosts that drag me down.
The past decays, the future frays,
I drown inside the world I've made.
If I command this space and sky,
Then why do all my angels cry?
The stars I forged refuse to gleam,
They haunt the corners of my dream.
The echoes hum a hollow choir,
They sing of loss, they breathe of fire.
Each thought a wound, each truth a scar,
I reach for light that stays too far.
I chase the heights beyond the night,
But shadows feast upon my light.
If I designed this world of mine,
Why can't I make my spirit shine?
Till morning breaks, I start once more,
A ghost that paces through the door.
Echoes whisper, cold, confined
Will I ever leave them behind?
Never Enough
A son's reflection on a mother's love — the kind that gives endlessly without asking, and the impossible weight of trying to repay it.
Your hands were the first home I knew
Soft as the dawn, steady and true
You carried storms I could not see
Turned every wound into light for me
You gave your years without a sound
Built my whole world while wearing yourself down
Every sleepless night, every silent prayer
Love was alive in the sacrifices there
And no one else could ever give
The kind of love that taught me how to live
A heart like yours does not repeat
It echoes once through eternity
Now I watch the years behind your eyes
Time moves softly while the spirit fights
And all I want is to give you peace
To let your tired soul finally breathe
I want to hold the world away from you
The way you always held it from me too
But every word and every try
Feels too small beside your life
How do you repay the arms
That carried you through every dark
How do you measure endless love
A mother gives without giving up
So if my whole life becomes this song
Just know your love made me strong
And even if I spend forever trying
For a mother's love, it's never enough
